Spynet
What is is?Spynet is a unique game for developing team building for corporate companies. Special Agent teams pit their wits and skills in an intriguing Spy scenario. This is available in Bristol and cities throughout the UK and Europe. The main mission is to locate the Aremik Virus – a derivative from the famous Kimera virus – which, once released, renders people immobile without killing them and is sought by Governments and the military alike! It’s been stolen by an Industrial Spy who will sell it to the highest bidder. More later! SpyNet has been specifically designed to deliver a cost-effective event and can handle small or larger groups, 1000’s in fact. SpyNet is ideally suited to providing a team challenge in cities or towns, not only in the UK but throughout the major cities in Europe and the World. (However, it can also be used for intranet induction training and is ideal for team building). How does it work?Your group will be divided into special Agent teams and be given a ‘Spy Pack,’ – a satchel which includes a digital camera, binoculars, compass, local map, refreshments and snacks. The mission begins with the teams being provided with their own unique code to log into the Spynet computers for the mission briefing. SpyNet has a special feature which allows video to run at on the briefing page. This could be used by a Managing Director, Sales Director or the person running the event to send a personal message to the teams or they can be the Head of Aremik Research & Development team asking for help to locate this amazing virus before it gets into the wrong hands. We will provide the computers and the venue provides the telephone lines. (However, SpyNet can run independently of the web if no internet service is available). By clicking New Agents and entering the team code the team will be able to commence their mission. The mission starts by presenting you with some background intelligence and then the objectives and clues to complete the mission. At SpyNet we give you everything you need: The mission briefing, relevant and up to date intelligence, training notes, intelligence photos and a team pack, but after that you’re on your own and remember the clock is ticking! The challenge can last for 2 hours or 2 days – it is that flexible and can be paused at any stage to allow for breaks for drinks or lunch! During the mission itself the teams are charged with finding answers to clues with different point values. The trail will take them around various sights and points of interest with the town or city centre (which probably wouldn’t normally be seen when just walking around) including identifying the location of photographs taken at historic sites or special features. Once located the Spies will also test the team’s calibre to carry out certain ‘tasks’, for example:
…and will be asked to provide photographic proof of their various antics using the digital cameras, to which they will have to provide captions! If the teams provide the Spies with the correct secret code they may well assist them in finding Internet Cafes where the team can again log into SpyNet without the need to return to the hotel or venue to collect their next mission or task. The teams will have to make their way back to the start point within the given time to enter their final solution code and to complete the mission. SpyNet then records the time the team took to complete the mission and places it on a league table. The league table can easily be displayed on large screen at the venue to show each team their final position. A really fun, fast and exciting team challenge!! |
